About us
The McGeachie surname project has grown to include 25 members.
Advanced STR and SNP testing has helped refine members results and has given more clarity to the different groups within the project.
It is an exciting time to be involved in genetic genealogy, as the project membership grows and more advances in genetic testing are made, the more we are able to understand our past and where our ancestors originated from.
If you haven't done so already, please update your oldest known paternal ancestor information on your "My Profile" page, and also upload your gedcom under the new "My Family Tree" button located on your home page.
