The Jones Surname Project has discovered with using BIGY results and primary sourced paperwork that Major Peter Jones and Rev Richard Jones from mid 1600s in Charles City County were related and most likely brothers and stepsons of General Abraham Wood.  These discovers have rewritten what has been published about these families for the last century.
