About us
The goals of this project are:
1. to establish the YDNA pattern for the different family lines of varying names.
2. to establish the YDNA pattern for lines within these families helping to link descendents of unknown branch origin to their corresponding family lines.
3. to link McHargues, McHargs and Mehargs to the McHargs, etc. in Scotland and Ireland. To determine if McIlhargey/y is also a branch of the same tree.
4. to determine if all McHargs, etc originate from the ancient Ui Niells.
