Our project goals include:
1) Compare genetic results and family history information of members to develop a theory for the migration and history of our greater clan starting 2-3000 years ago and continuing through the present day.
2) Advance the science of mtdna analysis for ancestry purposes.
3) Advance the science of calculating likely times to common ancestors using mtdna data.
4) Where the degree of mtdna matching warrants it, search for named common ancestors between members.
