Greetings, potential genetikin! This is the official project for the HV1 matches being organized by Debra Katz. We are a fun group of genetic cousins on an amazing journey to uncover our common ancestral paths over the last centuries and millenia. Every new member adds a piece to the puzzle! People are welcome who have done mtdna testing at least at the HVR2 or FGS levels, are in haplogroup HV1a,b or c. While the main core of this group is HV1b2, we have lots to learn by comparing ourselves with our HV1a and HV1c cousins, mostly from Anatolia and Armenia respectively.
