The current administrator was not in at the beginning. However, about 2003 it appears that the Carl DNA Project began with the addition of its first Y-DNA profile. The growth rate has been very modest. The amount of curation by earlier administrators appears to have been minimal, although at least one user/promoter of the Project was accumulating interesting genealogical information about a particular circle of members. In October 2021, Paul Coverdale Bartlett took over as administrator, with the goal of making the Y-DNA portion of the Project more useful and meaningful to members. Progress has been made toward that goal, with a new organization of the Results pages, and direct communications with Project members being opened. Paul is glad to reply to any questions about the project and will do his best to increase the usefulness of our data for genealogical research. (Revised 3/09/2023)
