The WILLIAMSON DNA Project welcomes Emily Adams Korff as the newest member of the project’s Administration Team. 

Emily is an excellent researcher – and is currently completing genetic genealogical certification. 

Emily’s years of experience researching her WILLIAMSON ancestry render an invaluable asset to the WILLIAMSON DNA Project. 

Therefore, we are extremely thankful to have Emily working in the official capacity of administrator.

Project Administration News :   05 APR 2026 

The WILLIAMSON DNA Project welcomes William "Bill" Dyson on board as the newest member of the project’s Administration Team. 

Bill is an excellent, experienced researcher - and a valued asset to our project. 

His efforts brought to light the heretofore unknown branch of a Carolinian WILLIAMSON line which carries the surname DYSON. 

Some may be unaware that every extant surname, for a variety of reasons, has branches of its genetic patrilineal line that bear different surnames. DNA projects, such as this one, serve as a means to reveal these kinships and unite (or reunite) all respective branches. 

The WILLIAMSON DNA Project is extremely grateful to have Bill working in this new official capacity.

The WILLIAMSON DNA PROJECT Administration Team highly recommends that each participating male member of a WILLIAMSON DNA PROJECT Patrilineal Line do the BIG-Y 700 Y-DNA Test (or upgrade their existing kit to this test).
