THE WALKER SURNAME DNA PROJECT is an ongoing project open to any male descendant with the Walker surname. Our objective is to match up individuals or families who share a common male ancestor with the Walker surname. A Walker database will be maintained to match future Walker participants. Current participants' results and pedigrees can be viewed on our website. Your volunteer project administrators recommend that you order the Big Y-700 test, but the Y-111 and Y-37 marker tests offer less expensive and entry level options as well. The more markers tested allow for a more accurate determination of how closely related you are to others in the database. Please contact us for further information.
