About us
The purpose of this project is to use DNA evidence to help identify the various Stiff lines of descent. Through Y-DNA testing, we hope to eventually "cross the pond" and connect with distant Stiff cousins in the United Kingdom to learn more about the origins of the surname.
Project goals:- Assist members with understanding their DNA results
- Group and analyze Y-SNP and Y-STR results
- Investigate surname origins and migration paths
- Identify common ancestors and paternal lineages
