June 2026: Group membership exceeds 400. 26 Y-37 kits distributed with
donations so far this year. As more testers are recruited, our
understanding of McCormick origins continues to advance. $20,000 Fundraising campaign announced intended to extend momentum of recruiting McCormick Y-37 testers.
March 2026: Second major Big Y-700 promotion issues 15 upgrades.
Holiday 2025: First time offer of Big Y-700 upgrade promotion issues 29 upgrades. Holiday Y-37 promotion issues 20 kits.
September 2025: Marianne Granoff, founding admin, stepped down after 13 years of service.
August 2025: Our third major free Y-37 DNA kit promotion distributed 25 kits.
June 2025: Our second major free Y-37 DNA kit promotion distributed 20 kits.
May 2025: Tomas MacCormaic joins the admin team [unlisted]. He oversees clan gatherings in Ireland, and a Facebook group (see Links tab of this group).
April 2025: Free Y-37 kits are now on offer to McCormick/McCormack males starting with a 10-kit promotion.
January 2025: Michael W. McCormick joins the admin team. He will start with overseeing the Activity Feed and group fund.
February 2022: There are now 260 people named McCormick and/or McCormack who have joined this project.
