This project is primarily designed to assist MacNeils with their early family history and to solve genealogical problems. Uncertainties such as whether or not two lineages are closely related are usually readily answered by comparing Y-signatures from participants of the two lines. Participants will also discover whether they are likely Norse or 'Celtic' in their paternal ancestry.
