About us
The project was established in 2004 by Robert B. Noles as a group under the umbrella of his Knowles Family DNA Project.
On March 2, 2006, it was 'spun off' as a separate project with Jim Brown (James Armistead Brown, Jr.) as Administrator. Then in 2008, Peggy Bruckner joined as Co-Administrator.
