About us

The Greater Hindustan Y-DNA Project is dedicated to exploring the paternal genetic heritage of populations connected to the Indian subcontinent and neighboring regions. Through Y-chromosome DNA testing, the project seeks to identify paternal lineages, trace ancient migrations, and better understand the genetic history of communities that have contributed to the rich cultural and historical landscape of Greater Hindustan.

Participants include individuals from diverse linguistic, ethnic, regional, and diaspora backgrounds. By combining genetic results with historical, archaeological, linguistic, and genealogical research, the project aims to build a clearer picture of how paternal lineages developed and spread across South Asia and beyond.

This project welcomes collaboration among researchers, genealogists, historians, and individuals interested in learning more about their deep ancestral origins.
