We are currently recruiting project members.
Members should have known or suspected ancestry connecting them to Aaron or Orinda Davis who were born in Ohio and lived in Hopkins County, Texas and/or families known to have been closely associated with them. (Finley, Blackmore, Beebe, Blundell, etc…)
This connection can be either traditional paper trail, or shared dna with known descendants. We have reason to believe these families converged in Texas by or before 1840 from origins in Ashtabula Ohio, Jefferson Missouri, Georgia and other places to take advantage of the generous land offers.
