1. Determine parents, possible siblings and other close relatives of Orinda and Aaron Davis.
2. Test alternative theories of ancestry. Some researchers list Amanda Doyel Callahan Davis, Dr. OS Davis, or Samuel B Callahan as relations to Orinda and/or Aaron Davis. It is possible instead that they are kin to the Blackmore family. There may be other possibilities yet not discovered.
3. Define kinship of researchers on these possible lines.
4. Test for haplogroup assignment on both y and mtdna lines of Aaron and Orinda, where possible, to obtain deeper ancestral origins.
5. Seek evidence of possible NA heritage as found in multiple family legends. (This could involve snp testing for D9S919).
6. Address any surprises resulting from dna testing by recruiting additional family members for testing and data analysis.
7. Share relevant documents
