The goals of the Bolen/Bolin Project include confirming the various family lines for the children of Edward Bolen, Sr. and his wife Ann Salley. Maiden names are currently unknown for several of the wives in the first three generations of the family. Through the use of autosomal DNA testing (Family Finder), we hope to possibly identify some of these women. It would also be interesting to see if there are any detectable differences in the yDNA from any of his sons or grandsons.
