The Bolen/Bolin Project is open to all descendants of Edward Bolen, Sr. of Orangeburgh District, South Carolina. Edward was born in Ireland about 1740, came to South Carolina in 1767, married Ann Elizabeth Salley of Orangeburgh Township, raised a large family, and died after 1805. Any descendants who have had the Family Finder test or, for males, the yDNA test are encouraged to join the project.
