The Whitney family Y-DNA project seeks to better understand the various Whitney families, to assist people in determining which family they belong to, and hopefully to provide clues as to the origin of these Whitney families. We need more participants and are requesting that participants take the BigY test if possible. They must be male Whitneys who can trace their descent through their father's line, or if they don't know, who think they are descended from through the male line.
