This project is for all those with the surname WADE and it's variant spellings such as WAID and WAIDE, McWade, MacQuaid, McWADE, etc. No matter where you live in the world you are welcome to join. We will be using Y-DNA tests to prove or disprove WADE surname connections. The 25-marker Y-DNA test, or a higher number of Y-markers test, is preferred. This is your opportunity to establish scientifically what your paper genealogy could not do by itself. We will go back to our surname origin and thus find our deep genealogy. Females can participate by encouraging their male WADE relatives to join.
