July 12, 2013 - Results have come in for a third member, with the Vallelunga surname from Sicily. Since his haplogroup is E1b1b1 and the Vallelonga with Calabrian ancestry is in the R1b haplogroup, this particular Sicilian Vallelunga is not related to the Calabrian Vallelonga line.

August 18, 2008 - The Vallelonga Project is formed with two members, a descendant of a Vallelonga from Fabrizia and a descendant of a Sicilian paternal line from Mezzojuso, with evidence of infant abandonment.
