Our goal is search for more information regarding Haplogroup U3b.  Our primary objective is to identify, study and, where possible, attempt to bring together our maternal lines (name or geography) to assist in proving our general U3b geographical ancestry. We will also seek to align Project member's family/surname relationships with other U3b families/surnames, if any likelihood exists within a 'modern' timeframe (i.e. when surnames became in common use).
