The Traywick surname and variations such as Trawick and Traweek are found throughout the U.S., but primarily in the southern states.   Many Traywicks are descended from a line that passed from Virginia through North Carolina into Tennessee, Alabama and elsewhere.  This project will use Y-DNA test results to help trace these various lines and determine their relationship, and to hopefully trace the name prior to U.S. immigration and even earlier.
