About us

The first Goal of this project is to assist those who are members of the Monmouth Taylor family (proven by Y-DNA) that do not know their line back to aEdward (ti).  Using the Y-DNA of members who have established their line back to one of the sons of aEdward Taylor then we hope to assign them to a particular downline which will narrow their search to a specific line of descent.  This has already happened with one of the members.  Of the four sons that had children there are 3 lines represented.  We need to recruit a descendant of adWilliam Taylor b. 1688, to complete the downlines.

A second goal is to assist members with research questions they may have.

The third goal is to identify the first of our specific Taylor family in America, and where they came from.
