The Sebring Collections was published in 1975, containing many years of research by were compiled over many years by John C. Sebring and Walter Sebring. An Addendum was also published by Vincent and Margaret Parsons in 1976. The research included in The Sebring Collections attempted to link all known Sebrings in the United States to Jan Roelofse Sebring, who immigrated from the Netherlands to North America in the 17th century. This project was largely successful. Several Sebring lines, however, could not be definitively linked to the others.
