A project for the descendants of Norse emigrants to the Irish Sea, Western Isles of Scotland, Northumbria and other areas of England, as well as their Norwegian, Danish, Swedish and Icelandic relatives, who have yDNA downstream of R-YP276. Our focus is to work towards identifying insofar as possible, using yDNA data, historical sources, archeological findings, population genomics studies, and other information; our common Norse ancestor(s) who crossed the North Sea from Scandinavia to the British Isles & Ireland, in the Nordic Iron Age and Viking Age.
