The Banner above shows Dromoland Castle, built in the early 19th century for the O'Brien family on the site of the ancestral home of the O'Brien first mentioned in the will of Murrough O'Brien, Earl of Thomond in 1551, the O'Briens being the principal Dalcassian Family that is represented by this haplogroup.
