YP728 is a subclade of Haplogroup R1a (<M458<L1029<YP417<YP418). As of now, YP728 has been distributed to Russian Federation, Poland, Belarus, Estonia, Sweden, Lithuania, Ukraine, Macedonia, Italy etc. This Project aims to investigate the possible origin, ways of migration and further downstream branches of YP728.
