The P Project is open to anyone who is predicted or confirmed to belong to the Y-DNA haplogroup P. To qualify, the first letter in your haplogroup designation (BEFORE the hyphen) must be a P. Having an P-prefix terminal SNP (AFTER the hyphen) doesn't mean your haplogroup is P. The project is also open to anyone with an 'upstream' predicted haplogroup (e.g. F-M89, K-M9) who has been invited to join or has been recommended to join by another haplogroup project. If you have tested with 23andMe and received a haplogroup P designation (e.g. P-P295) please transfer your autosomal results for free to FamilyTreeDNA and join this project.
