This project is open to anyone who has ancestors who once lived in the geographical area along Southern Baltic Coast known as East Prussia until World War 1. Prior to Germanization in the 13th century, this area was home to numerous Baltic tribes such as the Old Prussian and Yatavigian (Sudovians) people. Today, this area includes the Warmia, Mazury, and Suwalki areas of Poland, and the Kaliningrad district of Russia. The goal of this project is to discover and determine the settlement patterns and the decendants of these Baltic tribes post Teutonic Knight invasion.
