The goal of the project is to explore the settlements in the Prussian (Prussia) and Jacwiezy (Yatviagia) territories based on Y-DNA and mt-DNA of present inhabitants, whose ancestors lived in those areas at some point in time. In conjunction with archaeological research and the work of linguists, this project will explain ethnic orgin trends in the area.
