The Palatine Migration included thousands of families from across Europe. A specific goal of the project is to identify the matrilineal lineages of the 170 or so Palatine families who settled in Ireland in 1709, and who spread later to other parts of the world. How many of these families travelled from London to Ireland together because their wives or mothers were sisters?
