This project utilizes yDNA and mtDNA to solve genealogical brick walls in Page County. Legacy Tree Genealogists define a brick wall as tough research problems, “apparent dead-ends” that yield no answers after many hours of research (Legacy Tree Genealogists, 2017). In our area, some of these brick walls still exist after decades, even generations, of research. This project is open to men and women from families from Page County and adjacent counties. Individuals wishing to join should have taken a yDNA or mtDNA test with FamilyTreeDNA. We use crowdfunding to pay for DNA testing.
