- April 7, 2015: The project upgrades to the FTDNA MyGroups format.
- April 1, 2015: The Lannin DNA Project now has 14 members.
- February 27, 2015: First test results of cousins come in enabling extensive triangulation of matches plus line determination.
- December 1, 2013: The Project begins encouraging Family Finder testing by his known cousins to facilitate paternal and maternal sorting of matches.
- November 1, 2013: The Administrator decides to recruit Lannin Descendants who have taken the Family Finder Autosomal DNA test.
- January 14, 2013: Family Tree DNA approves the Lannin DNA Project.
