The name Kucharski is believed to be an occupational surname from the root “Kuchar” meaning Cook,

or a geographical name of someone from a place named Kuchary (which most likely got it’s name from 

some type of association with cooks). In either case the probability is that there are many different family

lines who carry the name. It is our hope that the project will be able to identify these individual lineages 

and thus provide additional information on Kucharski ancestry.

Each of these Lineages will be attached to a unique family history, and it is one of our main goals to provide
the members of this group with Genetic information that may aid in family Genealogy. Many times a family's 
paper trail can go cold and a Genetic match can open new doors to finding relations or family stories.
