About us

The Hunnicutt Project is offering SPONSORSHIP FUNDING on certain y-DNA test kits to their current or prospective members.  If you believe you qualify for a Sponsorship but are not yet a member of the Hunnicutt Project, please email your request and any necessary supporting information to the Hunnicutt Project Administrator.  Accepting a Sponsorship confirms your agreement to be a member of the Hunnicutt Project.  

To be eligible for any Sponsorship funding, you must be a direct male Honeycutt descendant and your last name must be Honeycutt (or similar spelling).  These Sponsorships are in addition to any sale price which ftDNA may offer.  Funding for sponsored tests is provided by private donors to the Hunnicutt Project and Sponsorship will only be available as long as funding permits.  The tables below show current y-DNA kit costs for both new kits and upgrading kits and the amount the Hunnicutt Project will sponsor.
