About us

HOLST is a surname used by several families in the Scandinavian countries. They typically originate in Denmark, and the name means Holsteiner, 'from Holstein', now a province in northern Germany. There are also other interpretations.

This project is for men who descend from one of the Holst lines and do Y-tests, or men and women who have a Holst in their ancestry chart and who do the Family Finder test.
