Our Goal at the Higdon Y-DNA Project is to encourage Higdon men from all over the world to participate in Y-Chromosome testing to help better define the various lineages of the Higdon surname and to better understand the deeper ancestral history of our families. We do that by providing this forum to help you identify potential members of your particular family line. Please note that the name RIGDON is often associated with the HIGDON name in many old records. Some think that the two families are actually related.
