The two descendants of Wendel are definitely NOT related to the descendants of John and George. This leaves us questioning how Wendel came to be accepted as a part of this family. We are fairly positive that the issue is with Wendel himself, and not with one of his descendants, as our two subjects from his branch descend from different sons of Wendel. While they do not match exactly -- merely 34 out of 37 markers -- there is a significant statistical possibility of their having a cousin relationship through Wendel as their Most Recent Common Ancestor, and we accept them as such.
