The Foy yDNA Project has been established at Family Tree DNA. In 1800, there were approximately 100 families with the Foy surname, in 1850, there were 400 and in 1900 a 1,000. The goal of this project is to identify the genetic pedigrees of the various Foy families, and hopefully to connect them to families in their countries of origin.
