This yDNA Project has been created for those with the Erskine surname and variations and those who find close yDNA matches with Erskines (or variations such as Askin, Askey, or Haskins). One primary objective is to trace various descendants of the Erskine families of Scotland in an attempt to find a genetic link to the historical record. This group is open to all Y-DNA kits with similar surnames and will attempt to differentiate descendent lines based on yDNA markers and Haplogroups.
