About us

The primary goal of the Early California DNA Project is to use traditional genealogy combined with DNA analysis to try and learn more about the identities and histories of the indigenous peoples and pioneer families who first settled the area of present day California. A secondary goal is to determine if or how other individuals (who suspect a connection) might be related to these families.

Borrowed from the North Carolina Early DNA Project.
