Y-DNA results have been arranged into subgroups representing varying levels of connected ancestry. Groupings are based on SNP results and/or STR matching.

Administrators strive to group Y-DNA kits within 1-2 days; however, there may be occasions when grouping is delayed. Project groupings are under continuous review by administrators and updated in response to new test results and new members.
