The Dickey Surname Project was started in June 2006 and reestablished on 28 March 2022 by volunteer administrator Lucy Nelson.
About the Administrator:
Lucy Nelson administers over 20 FTDNA projects including haplogroup, surname, and geographical Y-DNA projects. Lucy is an experienced researcher and has successfully combined traditional genealogy with Y-DNA to solve an NPE and break through brick walls. She moderates a Facebook group for advanced Y-DNA testing and enjoys helping new testers understand their results.
