The Dickey Surname Project was started in June 2006 and reestablished on 28 March 2022 by volunteer administrator Lucy Nelson.
About the Administrator
Lucy Nelson administers 10 FTDNA projects including haplogroup, surname, and geographical Y-DNA projects. Lucy is an experienced researcher and has successfully combined traditional genealogy with Y-DNA to solve an NPE and break through brick walls. She moderates a Facebook group for advanced Y-DNA testing and enjoys helping new testers understand their results.
