The Dickey Surname Project is primarily a Y-DNA project but is open to all descendants willing to share research and participate in DNA testing. All spelling variants are welcome. REQUIREMENTS FOR JOINING: Dickey descendants must have Y-DNA and/or Family Finder test results at FamilyTreeDNA in order to join. * Males with the Dickey surname (or variant) should have Y-DNA test results from FamilyTreeDNA. * Males with other surnames who match Dickey men in Y-DNA at Y-37 or higher are welcome to join. * Males and females with Dickey ancestry within 5 generations may join with Family Finder results. * Administrators must be granted Limited access (the default and preferred) or Advanced access to your results. * To transfer autosomal DNA results from another company, please see FamilyTreeDNA’s transfer page.
