I aim to help find:
-Genetic links. The two main groups are a start but I would like to make progress on identifying the "real" surnames of the paternal ancestry of those who don't match and are different YDNA families.
-Compare variant surnames. Such as; a rare surname but I found one in a telephone directory, CURDE, was common in Kent. Is someone alive to join our project. Are the McCurd family related to either the English or Virginia/Kentucky/Irish families?
-find Origins. At the moment it looks as if one branch DNA is geographically located and would like to find more surnames in the area (south coast of England) who match that Curd branch. This will prove that the family is Millennia old in England.
