Awaiting DNA results, this is my grandfather a salmon fisher as was his father and grandfather before him.
Mike this is my John Crow 1848-1925 son of Abraham and Phoebe Townsend Crow from Pickens County, Georgia. He looks like your John in the photo below to me.
Had the pleasure of meeting John Crow from my hometown of Lawrence , Massachusetts today . I didn’t think there were any Gold Crows in my area but John lives in the same neighborhood I grew up in. We likely share an ancestor from 1700s South Carolina
Surname CROW....My Dad Larry Crowe Sr. was bought a test on the last "Crow's Landing" website that was going some years back. I am his daughter Angel, and I was wondering if there was some way to look at the test results and find out what different nationalities he is, from the test he did?? Is that possible??
This is me. I am married to a wonderful lady from the Philippines and we have 3 little girls. Glad to meet you.

A long and exhausting journey to discover my ancestors. I'm glad that I joined this project and am thankful to all who have assisted. This is my GGG grandfather's tombstone in Roby, Texas. He was a Confederate soldier (not a popular topic right now) He is from the Crows that came from Morgan County Alabama by way of South Carolina. I started with absolutely no knowledge of the Crows at all and have learned so much about my paternal ancestors. My Great grandmother kept my grandfather in the dark about who his father was. Thanks to DNA and the internet, the secret didn't die with her :)
Very lucky find in Ancestry[.]com
For many years, I have looking for any record of the medical college where my great grandfather Dr. James P. Crow, completed his medical education after the Civil War. Not long ago, I hit the jackpot during a late night search. His name appeared on the Bellevue Hospital Medical College list of alumni. He graduated in 1871, having received his M.D. from Miami Medical College in Cincinnati, Ohio. He reported having an active medical practice in Peru.
A simple listing, such as this, tells a story and answers many questions. Keep searching.
I am happy to share with all the Blue Crows, that after 110 years of the anniversary of the death of Dr. James Phillip Crow (1842-1907), his descendants will be unveiling a memorial in his honor. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at the Cementerio Patrimonial in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
