About us
To date we have been able to test two descendants. One with documentation proving she is a direct descendant of Cornblossom through her daughter Sarah, and the other a descendant of Elizabeth. The result is an uncommon subclad of Haplogroup H, H1c2 found primarily in Germany and Sweden in modern times. We have also confirmed a connection to television personality Diane Sawyer. While haplogroup H has been found among modern day Cherokee, it is not accepted as an original Cherokee DNA type. There are several possible explanations for our result.
We have found exact matches which all point back to colonial America as early as the mid 1600's, but research has not revealed the connection to these distant cousins. More testing is necessary. If you have been tested and think you might be a match, you can compare you results to kit number 466602.
