The wife of Jacob Troxell was known only as Cornblossom. Born about 1767, official documentation is difficult to come by, so we are using DNA to try to learn more about this mysterious woman. Rumored to be a Cherokee, her mitochondrial is distinctly European, but has been in this country for a very long time.
