About us
The aims of the project are:
Firstly to try and establish if indeed all Callingham men have inherited their Y DNA from a single source in relatively recent times. i.e. there is only one Callingham family and to locate its origins.
Secondly to establish if the names Callingham and Collingham are from different lines or are merely a difference in pronunciation due to local accents/dialects.
Thirdly to establish if the Irish Callahan/ O'Callahan is a deviant of the same name or of completely different origins.
