The primary goal of this project is to establish a “reference library” of the markers of known Bruns lineages, against which any Bruns can compare their marker information to determine which line they are related to. Since individuals that share the same marker patterns also share a common ancestor, this information allows the researcher to quickly focus on one group of Bruns and also know which Bruns they can exclude!
